What Makes Sniper Hog Lights Different?

What Makes Sniper Hog Lights Different?

Sniper Hog Lights has been building hunting lights since 2007. We're nighttime hunters ourselves, and our products are designed around what we actually need and use in the field.

There are plenty of hunting lights on the market. What makes ours different isn't just how far they shine — it's how we design them, how we test them, and how we stand behind them after the sale.

We Test and Measure Our Lights

We don't guess how our lights perform. We measure them.

Sniper Hog Lights is the only hunting light company we know of that measures and publishes the actual output of its lights using a light meter. We test our lights under controlled conditions and use those measurements to back up the distances we advertise.

We also publish candela, something you won't typically find listed by other hunting light companies.

Why does candela matter? Because advertised identification distance can be subjective. Your scope, eyesight, humidity, terrain, vegetation and background can all affect how far you can actually identify an animal.

Candela gives you a measurable way to compare how intensely a light projects downrange. That's why we'd rather give customers real measurements than simply make claims about being the "brightest" or how far someone should be able to identify an animal.

You can see our actual measurements and learn more about how we test our lights on our Light Distances & Candela Testing page.

Designed by Nighttime Hunters

We don't design our lights sitting behind a desk and hope they work in the field. We hunt with them.

That experience has shaped our products from the beginning — from the different light sizes we offer to our mounting systems, beam adjustment and interchangeable LED modules.

Depending on the light, you can choose from red, green, white, IR 850nm and IR 940nm and change modules as your setup or hunting needs change.

We give you options because not every hunter needs the same setup.

Every Light Is Checked Before It Ships

Before a light leaves us, we check it to make sure it's working the way it should.

We don't want the first time you discover a problem to be when you're sitting in the field after dark. Taking the extra time to check our products before they ship is just another part of how we do business.

We Sell What We Believe In

We're in business to sell products, but that doesn't mean we'll sell something just because we can make money on it.

We focus on products we actually believe in and would use ourselves. That's also why you'll see multiple configurations and options throughout our product line — we'd rather let you build the setup you need than make you pay for things you don't.

Support From People Who Know the Products

If you call Sniper Hog Lights with a question, you're not talking to someone reading answers from a script.

Our team knows these products and uses them. Whether you're trying to decide between light sizes, LED colors, IR wavelengths or mounting options, we can help you figure out what actually makes sense for your setup.

Longer Warranties — Without the Runaround

We offer some of the longest warranties in the hunting light industry because we stand behind the products we build and sell.

Just as important, we don't believe using your warranty should be a hassle. If there's a problem with one of our products, contact us. We'll work with you to get it taken care of without making you jump through unnecessary hoops.

Built Around Performance, Not Marketing Claims

At the end of the day, we want our products to prove themselves in the field.

That's why we measure output, publish real performance information, test our products, use the equipment ourselves and stand behind what we sell.

That's been the Sniper Hog Lights approach since 2007, and it still is today.
